OBJECTIVES OF THE LESSON:

1. to revise past simple, past continuous and past perfect as used in story telling;
2. to consolidate students knowledge of the values of the narrative tenses;
3. to extend students knowledge of question forms in narrative tenses;
4. to hear examples of the target language in context and give practice in listening for
specific information and retelling a story;
5. to practice story telling using the past tenses.

MATERIALS:handouts, coursebook, pictures.

ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS:
