Financial Line
The current year was a challenging year globally, with economic uncertainty in Europe,
downgrade in credit rating of the US, geopolitical upheaval in the Middle East and a
slowdown of economic growth across Asia.
These factors affected crude oil prices thereby resulting in reduced refining margins and
profitability. Amidst this backdrop, we performed reasonably well and our revenues
increased by 31%.
The company recorded turnover of INR 3,397.92 billion and highest ever exports of INR
2,080.42 billion (comprising of 14% of Indias total exports during the year) registering
an increase of 41.8% over the last financial year.
From an operational point of view, we maintained operating rates upwards of 100% in the
refining business. The refineries achieved their highest ever crude processing of 67.6
million tones with better refining margin.

Social Line
Reliance Rural development trust constructed 219 Anganwadi building, 41 cement
concrete road and one check dam. The company distributed 1500 school kit to students
of 69 school in Jamnagar and neighboring places.
Reliance has provided Financial aid to Lions School catering to over 1,400 children of
laborers at Naroda and many more social welfare program initiated by the Company.

Environment Line
The company was able to achieve the overall increase of water cycled from 50.5 % to
54.5%. They utilize 52246 m of rain water. The company planted over 200000 saplings
and registered 3 Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project with UNFCC this year.
