Props & Costumes: The props needed (easel, paint, brushes etc) can be provided by the
department, and will play key roles in the shots to create the environment of an artist's studio.
The main prop to focus on will be the jar of paint water, as this will introduce satire and help the
audience to depict the underlying theme of the advertised product. The costume will be basic
clothing and a basic colour scheme, reflecting the idea of an artist painting in a comfortable
surrounding. This also helps create a sense of realism and colloquialism within the
advertisement. A key colour to try and involve is green, as this creates synergy in regards to the
Specsavers logo and reinforces the natural atmosphere created due to the connotations of
green linking to trees and nature, and therefore the canvas of a flower used as a prop for the
actor to engage with, which emphasises this ideal further.

Travel details: The equipment being used is stored at Elijahs house, which is roughly half an
hour away from college by foot. The equipment will be safely stored, and in result the weather
conditions should have little impact on the safety of the camera/ tripod etc. In a worse case
scenario, the equipment will be able to be stored within college to avoid any damage that could
possibly occur. In regards to transporting the equipment to the filming area, the vast majority of
the route taken around the college will be covered, resulting in the equipment staying dry and
secure throughout the walk to the art department.
