we often think about schools and
colleges, but we learn so much more
outside the classroom. The most
important things we have learnt
outside the school are those that our
parents and friends have taught us.

teach us how to be polite and
patient. This is an important lesson,
because it will help us get on with
other people. Young people learn to
be independent when they gain
experiences and they learn to survive
on their own. In this way we learn to
