#P282 - Assembly Instructions


1. Select your material from a variety of
#P282 hardwoods or solid core plywood.
1931 Mercedes Benz 2. Measure each pattern piece and cut the

Side A 2 3/8T x 4 7/16W x 8 5/8L 3. Make all pattern pieces by adhering the

repositionable spray adhesive. Cut the outer
Hood C 1 2 1/2T x 4 1/4W x 4 1/2L shapes and any interior designs. And drill
Radiator D 1 1/2T x 2 1/4W x 2 1/2L where indicated.
Fender E 2 3/4T x 2 1/2W x 14 3/8L 4. Remove all paper patterns. Sand where
needed. The edges can be rounded by
Frame F 1 3/4T x 4 1/2W x 15 1/2L sanding or using a small roundover router
Seat Back G 2 3/8T x 2 13/16W x 3 1/2L bit if desired.
5. Assemble by first attaching the Floor,
Seat H 2 3/8T x 1 3/8W x 3 1/2L Rear Window and Dash, to one Side using
Seat Base I 2 1 1/4T x 1 1/4W x 3 1/2L glue and finishing nails. Then attach the
remaining Side. Now attach the Seats, and
Dash J 1 3/8T x 2 7/16W x 3 3/4L
then the Roof. Next attach the Hood and
Rear Window K 1 3/4T x 3 3/4W x 4 3/8L Radiator assembly to the Frame. Then
Front Bumper L 1 3/4T x 3/4W x 6 1/8L attach the Body assembly into place on the
Frame. Now turn the vehicle onto its Side
Rear Bumper M 1 3/4T x 3/4W x 6 1/8L and drill for the Spare Tires at this time.
Headlight Support N 2 3/8T x 1 1/8W x 2 5/8L Next secure the Headlight Supports to the
Frame and insert the brass welding rod.
Luggage Rack O 2 1/4T x 3/8W x 1 7/8L Now attach the Front and Rear Bumpers,
Floor P 1 1/4T x 3 3/4W x 7 3/8L and the Luggage Rack. Then attach the
Wheels, Fenders, and finish as desired.

and C, ending at D. Then with table
tilted down to the left at 10 and
using a #9 blade, cut from D to A
on the right door and from A to D
on the left door.
