Applies To: 2010 Emissions Model Year MaxxForce 7, DT, 9, and 10

Description:

The Engine Electrical Harness Repair Update Kit has been developed and released to be used to for repairing connectors and pigtails
for the engine harness on the 2010 Emissions Model Year Medium Duty MaxxForce engines.

The Harness Repair Kit TXT1268701 (Figure A) has been approved under the Essential Tool Program for all Medium-Duty Dealers.
This Kit updates the previously released ITWX4048 (Figure B).

This kit is designed to eliminate the necessity of replacing complete engine harnesses for singular or multiple connector failures on
2010 Emission Model Year MaxxForce 7, DT,9, and 10 engines.

Navistar will be debiting the dealer's account for the Special Program Price of $725.00 plus additional charges for shipping and taxes
to each receiving location. Prices will be held for 90 days from April 10, 2012. The After Program Cost is $800.00.

Please refer to the Navistar TXT1268701 Engine Harness Repair Booklet and Special Field Notification, SFN-06-39 for the proper
replacement of the failed components.

Not all connectors on each engine harness will have a replacement.

The connectors are selected based on warranty data collected from the field.
