K.5.1.2. For SAWH pipe, full length of
the coil end weld shall be ultrasonically
inspected using the same insoection
sensitivity and parameters as used on
the helical seam weld in accordance with
K.5.1.1. In addition the T joints shall be
subjected to Radiographic inspection in
accordance with Clause E4. (Page-
157)

K.5.2.2. The strip edges, including those


adjacent to the coil end weld of helical
seam pipe, shall be ultrasonically
inspected over a width of 15mm for the
detection of laminar imperfections in
accordance with ISO 10893-9 to
acceptance limits as given in table K1
for strip edges or areas adjacent to the
