RU.AV28.V00284.
High voltage: 10 kV or 6 kV
Low voltage: 0.4 kV or 0.23 kV
Capacity: 16 kVA, 25 kVA, 40 kVA, 63 kVA, 100 kVA, 160 kVA, 250 kVA, 400 kVA, 630 kVA, 1000 kVA,
1600 kVA, 2500 kVA; step-down transformers with voltage of 10/0.4 kV, 6/0.4 kV, 10/6 kV - step-down
transformers (from 6 kV to 0.4 kV); step-up transformers with voltage of 0.4/10 kV, 0.4/6 kV, 6/10 kV - step-
up transformers.
The UZTT factory manufactures three-phase oil-cooled transformers with capacity of 16 kW, with HV voltage of
10 kV or 6 kV, with LV voltage of 0.4 kV or 0.23 kV; transformers of this family are used in package transformer
substations, type KTP, KTPN, and BKTP and are designed to convert power in networks of electric power
systems and energy consumers as well as to meet requirements of municipal infrastructure, civil construction,
farming facilities and operations as well as other requirements of national economy. Power transformers have
long service life; they are reliable and easy in operation.
Power transformers manufactured by the UZTT Company convert one voltage ac current into another voltage ac
current to provide electrical energy to consumers. Depending on their application, power transformers can be
step-up or step-down transformers.
The rated capacity range: TM-type transformers - from 25 to 2500 kVA; TMF - from 250 to 1000 kVA; TMZ -
from 400 to 2500 kVA.
Tanks of all TM transformers have rectangular form; they are equipped with oil-cooling radiators located along
the tank. The tank walls are made of ribbed 2.5-4 mm thick steel sheeting, thus ensuring reliable operation of
transformers and high shell resistance to deformation during transportation by any types of transport as well as
absence of residual deformations that may be caused by temporary excessive pressures up to 150 kPa (1.5
kgf/cm2) and up to 300 kPa (3 kgf/cm2) without any risk of structural destruction.
Oil-cooled power transformers, type TMF and TMB, are manufactured with the expansion tank:
the internal chamber of transformers has ambient connection. Temperature changes in oil volume that take place
during operation are offset by the expansion tank volume.
To monitor the oil level, transformers are equipped with the oil-level indicator located on the wall of the
expansion tank. The tank is also equipped with the sorbent dehumidifier and oil plug.
To localize consequences of accidents that may be cause by severe internal damage to the transformer, TMF and
TMZ-type 1600kVA+ transformer tanks are equipped with protective pipes with built-in diaphragm valves
intended for emergency discharge of oil in case of sudden increase in excessive pressure exceeding 150 kPa (1.5
kgf/cm2). With normal operation of the TM transformer, these valves do not require any additional maintenance
during entire service life (the projected service life for TMG transformers is 25 years (10,000 cycles per max and
min exposure). To monitor internal pressure in the tank with the relevant warning signal if allowed limits are
exceeded in 1000 kVA+ transformers placed indoors, (at the customer's request) transformers can be equipped
with the electric-contact vacuum pressure gauge.
All transformers can be equipped with standard alcohol or electric-contact manometric thermometers for remote
control over temperature to keep it within the set limits. Transformers can be equipped with electric-contact
vacuum pressure gauges. The manometric signal-producing thermometer can be ordered by the customer to
check temperature of the upper oil layer and control external electric circuits in transformers with capacity of
630 kVA and above.
High voltage and low voltage entrance bushings are placed vertically and are arranged in longitudinally directed
parallel rows on the lid of the transformer tank.
For TMF and TMZ-type transformers, high voltage and low voltage entrance bushings are placed horizontally
and are located on end (short) walls of the tank on its opposite sides. The entrance bushings have boxes, thus
providing flange coupling of transformers with the relevant distribution units. At the customer's request, a
cabinet can be installed on the side of HV entrance bushings in TMF-type transformers. The cabinet design
provides for possibility to install two cable sealing boxes. The cabinet has locks and safety signs. For TMF and
TMZ-type transformers, low voltage entrance bushings can be placed from left to right or from right to left,
depending on the specified instructions of the customer.
Transformers with 160 kVA capacity can be equipped with contact terminal clamps that are mounted on LV
entrance bushings; the clamps can be offered in 2 configurations - either for bus connection or cable connection.
Plates or channel bars with holes to secure the transformer on the foundation platform are welded to the tank
bottom. At the customer's request, for transformers with capacity of 160 kVA and above, channel bars can be
equipped with adjustable rollers that provide for longitudinal or crosswise movement of the transformer. The
downside of the tank has grounding assembly and a drainage plug.
Transformers are transported in completely assembled form and filled up with oil.

Types of transformers manufactured by UZTT, kVA capacity, kV voltage; TM, TMF, TMB, TME
The UZTT Company for Transformer Technologies has its own facilities for manufacturing of oil-cooled power
transformers and offers transformers of the following types: TMG, TMGF, TM, TMZ, and TMB. Oil-cooled
TMG-type power transformers have certificate of conformity No. ROSS RU.AV28.V00284.
TMG-type transformers manufactured by UZTT Company convert alternating current of one voltage into
alternating current of another voltage required for power supply of consumers. Depending on application, power
transformers can be step-up or step-down transformers.
Ensure that the operation of TMG-family transformers is not adversely impacted by shaking or vibrations or
chemically aggressive environment. Non-explosive environment free of current-conducting dust.
Tanks of all oil-cooled TMG power transformers have rectangular form; they are equipped with oil-cooling
radiators located along the tank. The tank walls are made of ribbed 2.5-4 mm thick steel sheeting, thus ensuring
reliable operation of transformers and high shell resistance to deformation during transportation by any types of
transport as well as absence of residual deformations that may be caused by temporary excessive pressures up to
150 kPa (1.5 kgf/cm2) and up to 300 kPa (3 kgf/cm2) without any risk of structural destruction.
Oil-cooled TMG, TMGF, TMZ and TMB power transformers are offered in hermetically sealed configuration;
their internal chamber has no outside exposure, and pressure changes inside the tank are offset by air "cushion"
in the upper part of the tank. To prevent prohibitive overpressure, the TMG transformer is equipped with a
pressure relief valve that is actuated at the excessive pressure of 75 kPa (0.75 kgf/cm 2). The operating manual for
the TMG power transformer requires that the excessive pressure inside the tank must not exceed 50 kPa (0.5
kgf/cm2). The insulation of the inner chamber of the transformer tank improves significantly oil operating
conditions, preventing its humidification, oxidation and sludge formation. To monitor the oil level, TMG, TMGF,
TMZ and TMB transformers are equipped with the oil-level indicator located on the wall of the tank. Even after
extended storage, TMG transformers require virtually no expenses on pre-commissioning, and if operated
properly, can operate for a long time without repair works that may require opening of the tank.
To localize consequences of accidents that may be cause by severe internal damage to the transformer, 400 kVA+
transformer tanks are equipped with protective pipes with built-in diaphragm valves intended for emergency
discharge of oil in case of sudden increase in excessive pressure exceeding 150 kPa (1.5 kgf/cm 2). With normal
operation of the TMG transformer, these valves do not require any additional maintenance during entire service
life. To prevent excessive pressure, the tank of the transformer with 25 to 250 kVA capacity is equipped with a
safety valve. To monitor internal pressure in the tank with the relevant warning signal if allowed limits are
exceeded in 100 kVA+ transformers placed indoors, (at the customer's request) transformers can be equipped
with the electric-contact vacuum pressure gauge.
Tanks can be equipped with floating gauges to monitor the limit (lower) level of oil. All TMG-type transformers
can be equipped with standard alcohol or electric-contact manometric thermometers for remote control over
temperature to keep it within the set limits. Transformers can be equipped with electric-contact vacuum pressure
gauges. The manometric signal-producing thermometer can be ordered by the customer to check temperature of
the upper oil layer and control external electric circuits in TM-type transformers with capacity of 630 kVA and
above.

possibility to install two cable sealing boxes. The cabinet has locks and safety signs. Low voltage entrance
bushings can be placed from left to right or from right to left, depending on the specified instructions of the
customer.
TMG-type transformers with 160 kVA capacity can be equipped with contact terminal clamps that are mounted
on LV entrance bushings; the clamps can be offered in 2 configurations - either for bus connection or cable
connection.
To make equipment easy to move, transformers with 160 kVA and above capacity (at the customer's request) are
equipped with rollers.
