Terminal markings June, 2010

Have you have ever been puzzled about IEC terminal markings for contactors and relays and the
identication codes listed in the catalog? What does EN50005 or EN50012 really mean? And what
about the Identication numbers spelled out in the product catalog? Did you know that certain
auxiliary blocks can only be matched with contactors having an integrated NO or NC contact.
This white paper will explain it all in detail for the Siemens line of SIRIUS IEC Contactors and
Control Relays.
