Jamba Juice, University Park: December, 2015 - Present
Prepare and handle food items in diverse and inclusive work environments. Provide customers
with alternative, healthy recipes for real fruit smoothies. Focuses on team-building ties and
supportive roles to efficiently sustain the Jamba cause.

CIU #10 and the Institute for the Study of Adult Literacy: August, 2016 - December, 2016
Spent approximately forty hours tutoring an ESL student in English as well as orchestrating a
community service project to introduce international visitors and ESL learners located in a small,
English-based town. Worked under Justine Willett and Michael McCarty.

Pennsylvania State University TESL Ecuador Immersion Program: June, 2017 - July, 2017
Coming this summer, I will be travelling to Cuenca, Ecuador with a group of Penn State
linguistics students and teachers to teach English for five weeks. Will earn ESL Certificate as
result.

PAACE Conference Presenter - The Lit Corps Program: Its Impact on both Adult
Learners and College Students: February 13, 2017
Was a participating presenter to tutoring and college administrators about the effectiveness of the
Lit Corps Program and possible ways to set up a similar program in other agencies.

Carmike Cinemas 8, Altoona PA: June, 2013 - June, 2015


Developed interpersonal skills for resolving conflicts in group-work environments. Interacted
with the general public while providing services such as selling tickets, preparing and providing
concession items, maintaining theaters and clean environments, and directing customers to
designated areas.

UPMC Altoona Hospital: August, 2014 June, 2015


Spent approximately 10 hours a week in volunteer services. Assisted patients in wheelchairs by
escorting them to their vehicles and/or different floors. Handled discharges regularly.
Transported sensitive documents and equipment across hospital.

Partnering for Health Services: August, 2014 - June, 2015


Spent two hours a day scheduling appointments for uninsured patients to receive free healthcare
at the Partnering for Health Clinic. Made calls to insurance companies and organized insurance
files. Called in medicine prescriptions and handled medicine directly at the on-site pharmacy.
