Plan and teach lessons for Spanish II and V, for regular and gifted students. Create Integrated
Performance Assessments for the Spanish II curriculum group, create the pacing calendar for
Spanish II, create two book study units for Spanish II, mentor other Spanish II teachers, sponsor
Spanish club, co-sponsor Spanish National Honors Society, plan and chaperone the schools trip
abroad to Ecuador during spring break 2017, attend county department chair meetings as the

Second Language Proficiency:


Advanced-High level according to the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines. I have studied abroad in Costa Rica and
Spain for a semester each and since then have been to Costa Rica numerous times. Also, I have visited
Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador, and various countries in Europe. Traveling to these countries
has helped me strengthen my language proficiency, as well as gain insight into many different cultures. Spanish
is the language spoken at home with my husband who is from Costa Rica.
