Teachers Retreat Program

Goal I will improve the academic achievement of one chosen class and four specific
economically disadvantaged students by attending two Teacher Retreats per
month and implementing social and emotional learning strategies with these
students.

Teachers will Strengthen and improve spiritual and personal health


Feel strengthened and inspired by participating in an open and supportive
community
Provide intellectual and emotional tools to one class and four students
Gain insight into economically disadvantaged students
Practice relationship building strategies
Attend a Parents Retreat to practice relationship building with students and
their families

Teacher to Student Goals Provide intellectual and emotional tools


Instill self-discipline and hope

Measure Pre/Post Survey (teacher, student, class)


STAAR Test Results (passing rate of class and score of 4 students)
