Anecdote
At the Bourns Technology Center, which had a gazillion people in it, Friday night, all the awards had been handed out and I had received a
gold medal and an honorary achievement award, so I felt extraordinary. Two weeks later when I was going to prepare and go to the Inland Empire
Science Fair, Monday morning, disaster had struck, the bell had rung and class was about to start. Alec, the person who was in the District Science
Fair with me comes to me with his friend, Getty and tells me that I missed the Inland Empire Science Fair to compete. I hadnt known since our
Science Fair coordinator didnt tell me anything about it online, which made me very depressed and furious like a angry grizzly bear that just got his
honey stolen. So, the rest of the school day, I just thought about my science project and how I had missed some very important events in my life, just
because I didnt plan about it and I didnt have any reminder to tell me that the Inland Empire Science Fair was coming up. So, I never trusted my
mind memory again and I just sticked to writing every important event on a to-do list that I created by myself.
This scenario almost often comes to my mind every day and generally ends in me getting a little depressed during class or whenever I hear a
particular science fair that is coming up. Looking for a solution to not omit any assignment or important event, I settled on my experiment.
Hypothesis: If I construct a to-do list and a calendar, then I will less likely have any late, missing, or incomplete assignments, which in result will get

Explanation of the Outcome
Yes, my hypothesis was proven true, because of having a to-do list that made me not
forget most of the time to do my homework that was due the very next day. It had a very
big impact on my school grades, which showed me that having a to-do list everyday is
what counts. Now, I dont even have to worry about omitting any of my homework since I
have a safe tool that will always be useful to me in times of stress. I would like to conduct
another experiment on myself just to justify my hypothesis being true.
