About us
The Toy Library
The Toy Library is ran as part of a small non profit

charitable organisation, known as Cardigan Playscheme.
We are based in Maesglas estate in Cardigan (see map

below) and have been here since 2001.
Our aim is to provide parents within the community, with

an affordable option of providing their children with a
range of toys. Children can soon tire of playing with the
same toy, which is why hiring toys would be ideal and has
the added benefit of being able to return them and not
have them laying around unused, which can be frustrating
as toys are not cheap to buy.

Party Packages!
Should you require large or small play

equipment for a party or event, you can
simply hire for the weekend at the following
prices.
10.00 for 3 Large items

(for a maximum of 48 hours)
OR
10.00 for up to 5 Small items

(for a maximum of 48 hours)

Returning Toys Policy
For those of you who may hire toys

from the Toy Library, please bear in
mind our policy on returning toys is
as follows:-
Toys returned on the session

following their due back date at the
latest incur no fine. After this, a
weeks toy hire is charged, and
beyond that the full fortnightly rate,
and so on for every 2 week period.

ART & CRAFT MATERIALS
We have a range of art and craft materials

available to purchase, from bottles of paint,
glue, various coloured papers to feathers,
beads and more!
Please feel free to call in to have a look at

what we have in stock, or if there is
anything you need that we havent got,
please tell us so that we can order some in!

CRAFT SESSIONS
We hold a themed craft session in the Toy

Library on the first Saturday of every month.
These may vary in price, depending on the
theme and materials required but will start
from 1.00 per child.
Tea/ Coffee/ Squash available!
You can also call in on any Saturday for a craft

session to make something of your own choice.
