Overall, it can be seen that the export of wheat in Canada have the highest number. Even though Australian witnessed a downward trend, the European Community looked the reverse.
From 1985 to 1987, the export of wheat in
Australia increased gradually at 16 million tonnes, while it plummeted to at around 14 millon tonnes. Canada and European Communities had a similar pattern, falling at approximately 17 and 14 million respectively, but then rebound gradually.
Turning to 1988-1990, the statistic of weat
exports in Japan was the lowest figure. It plunged to virtually 10 million tonnes in the last period. When it came to Canada, there was a peak percentage, at 25 million tonnes. Although the wheat export declined sharply less than a half. However, European Communitys figure overtook the figure for Australia.
