3. Magazine Article
Investigations continue to show that the media
positively discriminate the masculine while
maintaining certain misogynistic behaviors:
'everything seems to indicate that it is a crime of
passion' collected news. The murderers do not seem
to be guilty of violence against women, but the
entelequia 'domestic violence' that defocuses and
does not point the finger at the man who kills: 'a
new case of domestic violence.' Women 'die' are not
'murdered'. It avoids the word 'killer' to use
abundantly 'man'. And against journalistic ethics,
the victim is identified in many more occasions than
the murderer. Is it surprising to us that, with women
being 52% of the world's population, they make up
21% of the people on the news? In Spain, only 15
out of every 100 people mentioned on the radio are
women.
