SECTION 01 Purpose :

The purpose of this plan is to establish a set of procedure to comply with EMAL / SLII
Rehabilitation of Lay-down, Temporary facilities and office areas.

SECTION 02 Scope :

This plan applies to rehabilitation of ABB Site laydown area.This plan to provide details about the
activities that will be undertaken by Danway to rehabilitate the laydown area to bring to its original
state when the laydown area is vacated.

SECTION 03 Principle :

To ensure that ABB site laydown area is restored in original status without causing any damage to
environmental and to absolve ABB of any future liability once the rehabilitation plan is completed.

SECTION 04 Definitions :

Lay-down area : Area at the construction site where tools and materials are stored or kept in a
safe waiting area while they are awaiting for use.

Main Contractor : ABB

Sub Contractor : DANWAY EME L.L.C.

SECTION 04 Responsilities :

Site Manager :

a. Shall assume full responsibility of providing support to EHS department team and site
personnel during the rehabilitation of Lay-down area.

a. Ensure that rehabilitation adhere to SLII rehabilitation plan.

b. Ensure that wastes are properly disposed off accordingly.
c. Ensure that Lay-down area has been restored to its original state.

Supervisor / Foreman

a. Over-all in-charge for the implementation of lay-down area rehabilitation.

b. Make sure the rehabilitation complies and is acceptable with SLII rehabilitation procedure.
c. To observe high standard of health and safety well being during the rehabilitation.
d. To report all incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions arises during rehabilitation.

SECTION 07 Method of Application :

The rehabilitation plan for Danway site laydown area is prepared with reference to EMAL /
SLII Environment Management Project Procedure PG-69 coding: 017661-AD0000-69AG-0016 and
the following applicable procedure:

- Water Management
- Waste Management
- Hazardous Material Management
- Contaminated Soil Management

SECTION 08 Method of Waste Disposal :

1. Concrete waste :
Approximate quantity : 1.0 ton

Area of disposal : Concrete crushing zone

Service Provider : Green Mountain Transport Est.
(Approved by EAD)

2. General waste :
a. Food waste : To be dispose off in daily basis.

Destination : Land fill, Musafa, Abu Dhabi

Service Provider : Green Mountain Transport Est.
(Approved by EAD)

b. Waste water : (sewage tank )

Destination : Waste water treatment- Musafa, Abu Dhabi

Service Provider : Green Moutain Transport Est.
(Approved by EAD)

i Sewage tank will be emptied, drained prior for removal.

ii Cavity resulting from removal of sewage tank will be backfilled and level if there is no
contamination due from any leak of sewage tank. Otherwise contaminated soil will be
removed and disposed of properly and through an approved Environment Service
Provider and relevant certificate will be obtain and attached on disposal.
iii The toilet and tank will be removed from the site on completion of the contract. The
waste water generated by the toilet are being disposed regularly (refer to monthly waste
water log).

c. Cable Scrap/Waste :

Service Provider : Global Metals Co. L.L.C.

P.O. Box 26292 Sharjah, UAE

All scrap/ waste / excess cable will be temporarily stored at Danway main laydown for
temporary storage and will be removed along with Danways other packages
materials.Coordinate with EMAL/SLII store / warehouse in-charge for verification /
clearance and will be removed later on.

d. Recyclable Waste (Plastic & Cardboard) :

All recyclable waste will be segregated accordingly and will bring to Danway main Lay-
down yard for temporary storage and will be removed along with Danways other
packages materials.Coordinate with EMAL/SLII Environmental team for immediate
disposal.

e. Wood scrap :

All wood scrap will be segregated accordingly and will bring to Danway main Lay-down
yard for temporary storage and will be removed along with Danways other packages
materials. Coordinate with EMAL/SLII Environmental team for immediate disposal.

f. Metal Scrap/waste :

Service Provider : Global Metals Co. L.L.C.

P.O. Box 26292 Sharjah, UAE

All metal scrap/waste/excess cable tray/ladder, uni-strut channel, angle and channel bars
will be temporary stored at Danway main laydown yard for temporary storage and will be
Removed along with Danways other packages maerials. Coordinate with EMAL/SLII
Store / warehouse in-charge for verification /clearance and will be removed later on.

3. Hazardous waste / Hazardous materials :

a. Contaminated soil: As per EMAL/SLII inspection.

As per EMAL/SLII inspection, the contaminated soil shall stored in a separate place
Behind the laydown area. The soil will be disposed through an approved Environment
Service Provider and relevant certificate will be obtain and attached on disposal.
