Rod Recovery Taps

This is one of the taps most commonly used for the recovery of the drill rod of corresponding or
complimentary sizes. Self tapping V thread form is case hardened for cutting and gripping action.

RECOVERY TAPS

Casing Recovery Taps

When casing is loosely connected, the rotating action of the drill string can cause it to unscrew in
the hole. Use of a casing recovery tap is recommended in such situations. It is designed with
minimal taper to assure effective gripping action without distortion of the OD of the casing.
