In addition, the 1935 Constitution (as well as the current one) states
that the Philippines adopts the generally accepted principles of
international law as part of the law of the Nation. Thus, by this
doctrine of incorporation, customary international laws are given
the same force and effect as statutes passed by Congress.

born citizenship? Answer: By taking an oath of allegiance to the
Philippines pursuant to the Dual Citizenship Law (Republic Act No.

Yes, if done according to the protocols laid down by the Supreme
