In 1950, MAGOTTEAUX developed the first cast chromium balls in its
foundry located in Vaux, Belgium. Today, the Group produces more
than 250,000 tonnes per annum of grinding media and wear parts, in
specialized production units located in major global markets.

MAGOTTEAUX continues to develop solutions to fight against wear


mechanisms met in crushing, grinding and pyro-processing applica-
tions, and now offers, over 150 alloys created from special chemical

CAST BALLS
MAGOTTEAUX offers a unique variety of grinding media that combine

Grinding became a passion to us 50 years ago. On this foundation


we built, not only the Groups expertise but also Slegtens expertise, the
Engineering Company of the Group which is also a key player in terms of
process recommendations.

MAXIMIZING THE QUANTITY AND/OR QUALITY OF A MATERIAL WHILE


MINIMIZING THE ENERGY REQUIRED TO GRIND IT, IS A CHALLENGE
