RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

This is a computer program that takes a screenshot of the persons computer in either picture or video
format. The person is able to upload it to the web, computer or web link to a sender.

INTEGRATION/IMPLEMENTATION IDEA - SCREENCASTING

How might you use this resource to promote student learning? Describe who will be doing the
screencasting you or your students, and what purpose it will serve.

I see this either being used by the student or the teacher. This is an excellent way for the teacher to
upload a virtual image of directions for students to follow either when its a form of test using the
computer or even if the teacher is absent. Students can use jing as a way of communicating or giving
directions of how to do certain classroom activities to other students via email or if a student is absent.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
Given the information above, how would the technology integration you described, using the
selected resource? (On the Value-Added Rating Scale above)
Explain your rating based on the indicators on the rubric.

I see this following the rating scale of a 2 because not only can a teacher use this but I see this as a
great way for students to communicate among their pers. I see this as a great way to utilize of giving
a clear physical image of elaborating to the teacher what the student doesnt understand in a virtual
manner. Instead of having a student try to explain a concept they do not understand they are able to
send a picture or a video. This can enhance the students learning capability and getting them more
in involved with asking questions.
