During this project, I have learned a lot more about where my clothes were exported
from. I believe that my clothes come from different countries because it is cheaper to make them.
Vietnam had the largest percent because most of the clothes I recorded were from PINK and I guess
Vietnam is where the company "PINK" is mostly made. Industrial laws affect where clothes are made
because in the United States you have to be a certain age to work and get a job. On the other hand, in
some countries they hire kids. Wage and labor laws affect where our clothes are made because in other
countries they don't have to pay their workers as much, so that means that the clothes they make are
cheaper. In the United States, our minimum wage is higher so the clothes are more expensive. I think
that trading with other countries has made a negative economic impact in the United States. For
example, it gives more money to other countries because less Americans will have jobs. Without trading
and importing clothes with other countries this world would be a lot different today.
