It seems something usual when you hear people throughout the world exchanging their holiday
gratitude by saying Merry X-mas instead of Christmas. Some of us may have a clear image of
Christmas while some others do it because it is taking place in such a way by the majority for
long years. Many others have also been observed using X-Mas instead of Christmas simply
because they heard it from some popular media or from the speech of the so called celebrities.
If you read many books or ask many so called scholars about Christmas vs X-Mas you will
probably get the answer as follows:
The X is actually indicating the Greek letter Chi which is short for Greek equivalent name
for Christ. So, they would say, Christmas and X-Mas are equivalent in every way except
their lettering.
The truth behind this way of writing is beyond what the most so called scholars are narrating.
X-Mas is not a religious name rather it is a pagan or non-religious name.
My question here is why it became necessary to remove Christ out of Christmas and replace it
by the letter X? Do we have to be fool by their definition of Greek? Or is what the letter X
denotes really clear for us? Why did they intentionally focus on hiding the name of Christ? Is it
because of lack of space?
In the history of Christianity, we see when the believers those who believe and call upon the
name of Jesus Christ were persecuted, tortured, burned, killed and even faced different inhuman
treatment. However, they couldnt stop any single followers of Jesus Christ from calling upon
His name. The reason behind this act is, I think, obvious! The mind of those do not believe in
Jesus Christ is controlled by the trashes of the Anti-Christ. They have repeatedly tried to torture,
persecute, and kill Christians but Christians chose to die than denying Christ for the fear of
physical death.
Now they come with very smart and civilized strategies and tactical actions to make the heart of
Christians dull.
