Book title : Rachel's Secret author: Shelly Sanders

The image represents the story because in the story it about jewsish people have riot
against the Russia people . The Rusia people don't like the jewish people and lived in seprerate
neighborhood. In the book of Rachel's Secrets , Rachel has riots in the neighborhood with
Russian and many Jewish people died by these russians. In this image, it shows the people going
to fight but the police don't do nothing to stop their people to destroy other people things.

Conflict

Oneof the conflict of this book is that Rachel has a secret that she dosen't wasnt to rebel
to police. She saw tthis conflict thatcan change there view of the Russian against. The chracater
Rachel had a menal/ internal struggle. The conflict start it the beginning of the story because
Rachel saw his friend Mikahail died but the hands of his uncle. The conflict ends with Rachel
reveal the truth in the trials because the trials was to get the murder the Mikahail death and she
confesses in the trials . It affects the novel because Rachel story was about her secret and what
was the seccret.

An other conflict is the jewish people and the Russian people had to live seperate to
neighborhood but the Russian never like the Jewish people and they where trated unfairly. It
involves the charcter Rcahel and segei; they are both are friend from one being jewish and the
other being a Russian. It an external conflict because it cause riots to the jewish houses and
causes deaths against people. The conflict starts by the police don't stop their own people. The
conflicts ends by causing many deaths to the the jews and ost many of their family member and
Rachel lost his father. It affects the novel because the jewish people lost teir homes and there
family mambers.

Main Character

The protagainist in the novel is Rachel .This protagonist Rachel loves to write not to be at
hoome cleaning. The lesson that the main chracter learns is the life is difficult that we have
survive even if is rough.In Rachel's Secret states, " She hung her head down as her mother and
sister threw clumps of earth over her father's shrounded body" (Sanders 156). In this quote tells
that Rachel had a tough life when she had news about his father because sh ethough we would be
back after the riots had happened . The results are that Rachel feels the lonely with his father
because the only parent that uundrestand how Rachel was.

Connect to Life

This book connects to my life in the way every one as a dream to be someone in the
future and travel around the world. Every one in life wants to be someone as poeple as going to
college. In teh book states, " I saw something , something horrible that nobody was supposed to
see... I know who killed Mikahail" (Sanders 53). It states that it connects to my life because I
have a sister that I can trust to tell screts as Rachel also did in the story. I would also connect to
tell someone something you have in your heart. Also, in the life we have to grow as thetime
passes by. The time passes people growing and i want to grow to and to travel aound the to see how
the world is .
