PROCEDURE HOW TO BUILD SLAB

Firstly we should not confuse this word with slab which is acronym of slow low and
bangin which is mainly used in the south for any car that is fully customized.Concrete slab is
a common structural element of modern building. That is usually horizontal and has smaller
thickness comparative of its span.

Ground Slabs

1) After excavation install the formwork, build foundation and ground beam wall.

2) After install the drain pipe, install the soil and compact the soil.
3) When install the soil is finish you must compact the soil, use hand compacter 500 kg.
Because to increase bearing capacity of soil, increase compressibility, reduce
permeability and improve stability. After soil is compact install thin layer of cruser run
and compact again use hand compacter.
4) After install the thin layer of crusher run put the DPM ( Damp Proof Membrain) to
avoid absorption ground water. Water penetration is a prime cause of deterioration in
building structures and material and the presence of excess moisture encourages the
growth of moulds and wood rotting fungi. Because of this, building regulations
required that building are so designed that water neither damages the fabric not
penetrates to the interior where it may constitude a health hazard as well as spoiling
decoration.

5) After that install the BRC ( Bar Reinforcement Concrete ) type A8.
6) When finish install the BRC install the level stone. Because to level the BRC get the
same level and then put the concrete. After that compact the concrete so that air
bubbles are not visible anymore.

7) After finish the concrete let the concrete maturity, and for concrete maturity period is
28 days and the can open the the form work.

First Floor Slabs

1) After finish all work for column and stater bar. Process install formwork for first floor
beam and slabs.

2) Rub the oil on the surface of the formwork form in order to facilitate the process of
opening the formwork.
3) After finish rub the oil at surface of formwork, install the reinforcement bar for beam
in formwork beam.

4) Then when finish install reinforcement bar for beam, install reinforcement bar for slab
use tyre A8.
5) After finish install reinforcement bar for beam and slabs, install drain pipe and pipe for
wire.
6) When all of pipe is done we can start concrete all the slab and beam. The diagram
below the process of concrete the beam and slabs into the formwork, and after finish
put the concrete into formwork lets the concrete dry and maturity at 28 days.
