General Work Regulations

Vision-Ease Lens Thailand Company Limited

The company would like to inform all employees about the work regulations, safety
procedure, property protection, rules of conduct, and leave procedure, which are additional to
the basic requirements of the labor law. Employees must strictly comply with the regulations
as follows:

Work Regulations, Property Protection, and Rules of Conduct

1. Employees must clock in and out as specified by the company.


2. Employees must clock in and out by themselves. Employees must not scratch, mark, or
cause any damage to his/her attendance time card or that of other employees.
3. Employees must obey and comply with his/her superiors instructions and should not
express aggression towards his/her superior.
4. Employees must not play with, tease one another, or eat during the working hours or in
the working area.
5. Employees are required to wear a uniform when they are at work.
6. Employees must perform their work with their greatest ability for individual
development, the companys benefits, and the progression of the companys business.
7. Employees must not be late for work, be absent without notice, or leave their
responsibilities unattended.
8. Employees must be attentive to the announcement made by the company and conform
to it accordingly. Companys announcement will be posted at the companys notice
board. This means all employees must acknowledge announcement on the board
without any excuse for not knowing it.
9. Should employee wish to change his/her name, last name, or marital status, he/she
must inform the Human Resources Department within 15 days after the change is
made.
10.Employees must not spend the working time on his/her personal matters.
11.Employees must work with his/her willingness, unity, and collaboration. Employees
should also refrain from interfering with other departments work, except for work
concerning the company.
12.In case of sick/medical leave or personal business leave of emergency which results in
absence, employees must notify his/her superior on the first day that he/she is absent.
13.While on duty, all employees must not leave his/her responsibilities, except for doing
companys business once the permission is granted by his/her superior.
14.Employees are not allowed to write, draw, post pictures or distribute any printed
materials in the company without approval from General Manager.
15.Employees must not disclose any information regarding salary, benefits, and
companys data.
16.Employees must not perform any business which affects his/her working time or the
companys business.
17.Employees must not do any business that may cause damage to the companys
reputation, or seek personal gain from working at the company.
18.Employees must help, support and be consistently cooperative with companys
activities with his/her full effort, and must not intend to delay performing their work.
19.Employees must be attentive to their work and have to report any incident which may
subsequently result in damage to the companys properties, products, or the reputation
of the company to his/her superior.
20.Superiors at all levels hold the responsibilities of every subordinate under his/her
supervision in order to comply with the companys policy and regulations apart from
their regular routine.
21.Employees must be willing and dedicated to working during extra time required by the
company in accordance with his/her roles and responsibilities.
22.Employees must perform his/her work with integrity.
23.Employees must conform to the order, termination, or job transfer as well as change to
a different position as appropriately determined by the company.
24.Employees must have his/her employee ID card shown at the left pocket, or hang it
during the working time.
25.Employees must commence work at his/her department when the alarm goes off.
26.Employees are not allowed to bring any materials/devices irrelevant to work (e.g.
radios, communication tools, mobile phones, and magazines) to the production area.
27.Unless otherwise permitted, employees are not allowed to use any companys
equipment or product for his/her personal use or for other matters irrelevant to the
companys business.
28.Employees must help maintain equipment and machines to be in good condition, and
economize on the use of the disposable.
29.Taking photos is not allowed in the companys premises which are production areas.
30.Employees are advised to keep all areas in the company clean and only dispose wastes
in the provided containers.
31.Employees must be careful, help maintain and keep the companys properties in good
condition, and are required to notify his/her supervisor when he/she loses or causes any
damage to the companys properties.
32.Employees must not assist, support or ignore when seeing other employees acting
against the companys regulations.
33.With regard to employees working on shifts, swapping shifts between employees must
be approved by his/her superior at least 3 days in advance.
34.Employees must use computer, electronic mail (e-mail), and internet network for work-
related matters only. Failing that, disciplinary actions may be imposed.
35.Employees must not quarrel with or injure other employees or anybody in the area of
the company or while travelling on the companys transportation.
36.Employees must refrain from stealing, or taking any companys assets out of the area
without permission. Employees must not take others belongings for him/herself.
37.Bringing and carrying any weapons to the companys premises is strictly prohibited,
except for those whose responsibility requires to do so.

Safety Procedure
1. Employees must conform to the regulations, requirements or any procedure related
to safety, health, and environment and the security of the company.
2. Employees must wear and use the safety equipment provided by the company.
3. Smoking on the companys premise is strictly prohibited. Employees can only smoke
in the smoking area.
4. Employees are not allowed to work while intoxicated.
5. The security guards and superiors have the rights to refuse to allow intoxicated or
unconscious employees to work or enter the company, and the event as such will be
regarded as absence.
6. Employees must maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of his/her work area and
always keep the office equipment in good condition.
