SOCIETY About CATS:
CATS is a non-profit organization who aims at providing a platform for like-minded people to travel and
participate in cross cultural experiences all across the world (starting from Asian Countries first) with minimal
or no cost except the air fare and a camp fee. The aim of the society is to get funding from Universities,
Public & Private organizations for meeting the basic costs of the camp. The funding has to be International as
each camp will be held in a different country.
The Burapha University camps would be the role model for all the upcoming camps and the society would be
run by Chairman and the current office bearers from BUU Camp 1 and Camp 2.

About the Camps (An Overview) :

The duration of every camp would range between 7 to 10 nights. The frequency of the camp occurrence will
be at least 3 times a year but preferably 4. Initially, the camps would start from Asian Countries.

About the Society Membership:

The society would work via membership. For now CATS will accept 300 members. All 300 members would be
given a chance to participate in the camp on regular rotation basis. Membership forms would be available
soon and the members would be selected by Chairman on the basis of a particular criteria.

Membership Fee:
The membership fee which all of us will pay to upkeep the website, social networking and other incendiary
charges will be $30 annually or 1000 Thai Baht (per year) which is approx 3000 Pak Rs and 1500 INR. per year
to become a member of the society.

Membership Procedure:
A membership form would soon be available on the website portal (under process) and it would be
emailed separately to the current student body. We can all fill the form and send to a society email
id which will be regulated by Chairman. For marketing, you can print out the forms and distribute
among your peers, relatives and friends.
After the membership approval of the applicant from Chairman, the membership fee as mentioned
above, would be submitted to the appointed finance executive person from the respective country.
Age limit for membership is 18 to 30 years.
No more than 300 members would be selected.

 CULTURE AND Membership Rules of CATS
ADVENTURE TRAVEL
SOCIETY 1. Only individuals aged minimum 18 and maximum 30 can apply and be eligible for
membership for CATS.
2. CATS will not have more than 300 members at any given time. Only upon members
non-renewing membership or exceeding the age limit of 30, will more members be
allowed to join
3. Membership will be paid for one year and will be renewal after the year expires by
paying the annual membership fee.
4. Membership will be 1000 baht per year (paid in local currency in case of Finance
Officer being available in your country / US $ in case of foreign remittance).
5. Upon payment of membership each member will be invited to join the CATS closed
Face book group, will receive a CATS membership card and will have access to CATS
events across the world by way of application and rotation.
6. All 300 members who opt for events and qualify will get a chance to participate in CATS
trips and camps. All members will be accommodated on rotation.
7. All members must strictly abide by the code of conduct and disciplinary rules as set by
the CATS executive committee. Failure to do so shall lead to immediate expulsion.
8. Each event / camp will have its own guidelines and rules laid out which have to be
strictly followed by all members.
9. Each member has to respect the rights of privacy of other members and of CATS the
society, in general.
10. The Executive committee shall be headed by an Executive Director and committee
members. The Head of CATS will be the Chairman of the Society. All final decisions in
management and dispute arbitration will be made by the Chairman which will be
binding and final.
11. The Executive Director will be nominated by a voting process and will be changed every
year. The Executive Director each year will be from a different nationality. Final veto
power will be held by the Chairman to accept or not accept Executive Director
Nomination. All committee members and Executive Director can be relieved of their
positions and changed at the complete discretion of the Chairman.
12. All members are eligible to apply for committee member and Executive Director
Positions.
13. Membership fee once paid will not be refundable under any circumstances.
14. No CATS member will use the name of the society to further enhance personal
interests at the detriment of the Society or its members or to bring disrepute to the
repute of the society. Such action will result in immediate termination of membership
