Hydrology Idol

Today on Hydrology Idol we will be treated to 8 different competitors who are all vying for
the coveted title of Best Hydrologic Cycle Video. We will be judging our competitors according
to these criteria:

o Catchiest tune - easy to remember

o Best description of the water cycle describes the water cycle most accurately and
covers the important parts of the cycle most fully

o Most informative breaks down the water cycle in the easiest to understand way

Each of you will be given a ballot and after hearing the eight competitors you will cast your

OVERALL - The Hydrologic Cycle Idol (all 3 categories)

I think that Mr. Parrs song is the best because it is catchy, very informative, and best
describes the water cycle. It was catchy because it chose a song that a lot of people have
heard. I was very informative because it mentioned molecules and cloud formations. On last
thing is that it mentioned all the main water cycle steps and all the water cycle did.

Think that the Have Fun Teaching song is catchy because it has same lyrics and it has a good
tune. The beat was catchy too.

Best description of the water cycle

I think that the rap song best describes the water cycle because it talks about evaporation,
condensation, precipitation and runoff. In this song it also talks about what happens at all the
stages.

Most informative
I think Mr. Davis song is the most informative because it talks about the stages and the types of
clouds. Also it talks about water cycle stages too.
