July is a month of remembrance.
Some remember the heroic battles
of the Revolutionary War. The
brave farmers, merchants,
pioneers, and blacksmiths who
thought less of their own
preservation and looked to the
preservation of the rights of all
men. Men who battled cold,
sickness, disease, and hardships
along with enemies. Men who
suffered at the hand of a stately
king. Men who said "Enough!" and
created for themselves a new land,
free for people who would grace its
borders. Men who formed the land
we lovingly call America.
As God's people, when we look at
America, we must examine
ourselves and pray for revival. In
order to preserve this great land,
we must take the advice of
Philippians 1:9-10 and daily live
out its words, "And this I pray, that
your love may abound yet more
and more in knowledge and in all
judgment; That ye may approve
things that are excellent; that ye
may be sincere and without
offense till the day of Christ."
America will not be preserved by
new laws, more advancements,
greater technology, or more
sincere government leaders.
America will be preserved by
people, godly people, who study
God's Word and live out the
principles God has given us.
Daily we must abound in love
toward our fellow man. Daily we
must increase in knowledge and
judgment through study of God's
Word. Daily we must choose
things that are excellent and God
-honoring. And daily we must ask
for God's hand of grace and
blessing. Only as we are seeking
to pattern our lives after Christ's
life, and look to God for guidance
can we hope to preserve the
great land that God has given us.

Our Pastor celebrated his 46th birthday yesterday.

Pastor Fisher was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 10,
1964, to George and Janice Fisher.
SATURDAY:
Soul Winning 10:30 AM Pastor Fisher has one older brother, Chris, and two
Bus Visitation 10:30 AM sisters, Robin and Tanya. Our Pastor’s family was
Men’s Prayer Mtg. 7:00 PM reached through the bus ministry. As a result of
someone coming to their house and inviting his family to
church, Pastor Fisher accepted Christ as Saviour.

Where Will I Spend Eternity?

Your relationship to Jesus Christ is central to the answer of that question.
Our Dilemma:
We are, by nature, sinners who stand guilty and condemned before our Creator and Judge. In our
thoughts and actions, we have disobeyed His perfect standards. We are sinners (Romans 3:10, 23).
Our Inability:
We are helpless to save ourselves. Forgiveness is a gift to be received, not a reward that can be earned.
We need a Saviour (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Our Saviour:
Because of His love for us, God provided salvation through His Son, Jesus. He became a member of the
human family, lived without sin, and died on the cross to pay for our sins. Jesus is the Saviour
(Romans 5:8; John 3:16).
Our Response:
Salvation is an individual matter and requires a personal response on the part of anyone that wants to be
saved. All who acknowledge their sin and place their trust in Christ are adopted as God’s children
(Romans 10:9, 13).
