(a) Find the gradient and the y intercept of the line 2

i. Find the equation of AB, giving your answer in general form. 3

(c) I borrow $14 000 from a loan company. Simple interest is charged at 12% p.a. The 3
loan is repaid with interest in equal monthly instalments over 5 years. Calculate
the amount of each instalment.

(d) Stevens normal hourly rate of pay is $25.50. Last week he was paid $969. The 3
first 16 hours were at normal rate, the last 5 hours were at double time with the
remainder at time-and-a-half.
How many hours were paid at time-and-a-half?
