English 11 Marking Period One Independent Reading List

Choose one of the following books to read this quarter. This is a book to be read
on your own time. After you finish reading the book, you will take an objective
test worth 50 points (matching, multiple choice, true and false). Some books are
available here at school (ones with a *), but you are responsible for obtaining
your book and having it in class. If you finish your work early, I expect you to be
reading.

The test will take place on MONDAY, OCTOBER 24. If you are going to be
absent on this day, you MUST make arrangements to take the test ahead of
time. NO LATE TESTS WILL BE GIVEN!
