Instructed courses in government and cultural studies for the Social Studies Department while
teaching to the College, Career, and Civic Life (C3) Framework for Social Studies State Standards.
Designed coursework and took ownership of all classes within the first two-weeks of practicum.
Focused primarily on differentiated instructional strategies, inquiry-based learning, assessment
implementation, and technology integration in the classroom environment.
Addressed all student learning styles with a differentiated instruction while providing specific
attention to IEPs, 504 Plans, and English language learners.
Participated in the YMCA Youth and Government program in Springfield, Illinois.
