extend the tape and use fingers to press the tape to make
the tap closely adhered to the connector or the jumper. The
wrapping length should be 60 - 70 mm.
4.Spiral-wrap the connector and the RF jumper with
waterproof adhesive tape (width: 50 mm, thickness: 1.65 mm,
length: 80 - 100 mm), starting from the connector. During the
wrapping, apply certain force to extend the tape to 150 - 160

closely adhered to the connector or the jumper. The
wrapping length should be 40 - 60 mm and the connector

2.Spiral-wrap three layers of waterproof adhesive tape: Stretch the waterproof adhesive tape two times as long as its
original length. Use approximately 50 cm waterproof adhesive tape for each connector. Spiral-wrap three-layer
waterproof adhesive tape around the connector in the direction that you tighten the feeder. This can protect the feeder
from being loosened during the spiral-wrapping process. Smooth over the waterproof adhesive tape by applying proper
force to secure it on the feeder.

Note: You must spiral-wrap the first layer from bottom up, the second layer from top down, and the third layer from
bottom up with one third overlapping. This can protect the connector against rain and moist. Do not cut off the

2.3 If the feeder is laid on an iron tower, you should ground the feeder before it leaves the tower. If the distance
from the tower to the RRU is less than 10 m, grounding is not required for the feeder before it leaves the tower.
If the length of the feeder on the tower is greater than 60 m, you should ground the feeder at the middle
position of the tower.

1. Outdoor shielded DC power cables must be grounded near the feeder window of the equipment room, and the
grounding clamps must be connected to an outdoor grounding busbar. If the cable is grounded after it enters the
equipment room through the feeder window, the cable where a grounding clip is applied must be wrapped with two
layers of insulating tape. If the cable is grounded before it goes through the feeder window, the position of a cable
where a grounding clamp is applied must be processed with the 1-3-3 water-proof measure, that is, one-layer
insulating adhesive tape, three-layer waterproof adhesive tape, and three-layer ultraviolet-proof adhesive tape.
2. Outdoor shielded DC power cables must be grounded before they enter an outdoor cabinet, and the grounding
clamps must be connected to an outdoor grounding busbar. The position of a cable where a grounding clamp is
applied must be processed with the 1-3-3 water-proof measure, that is, one-layer insulating adhesive tape,
three-layer waterproof adhesive tape, and three-layer ultraviolet-proof adhesive tape.
