Many philosophers argued about existentialism, others say that a human

person exists independently and others say likewise. However this argument claims
a high standard of value unto education. The existence of a person starts from a
simple question that will answer difficultly. People were confused about the reality of
the world; they ask why there is a division among us? We have different identity
that may reflect on our personality?

The founders of existentialism made little reference to education and the role
of the teacher, the learner, the environment or the curriculum. The mission of
existentialism "analyzes the basic character of human existence and calls the
attention of [people] to their freedom" (Wingo, 1965, p. 419). However, much can
be gleaned from the original words of thinkers that apply to the state of an
existentialist education, as education has come to be seen as "a foundation of
human progress" (Park, 1968, p. 299). These justifications of philosophers must be
seen a quite attention. Be careful in understanding existentialism thus its meanings
provide to the role of individual into the society. Van Cleve Morris (1968) sees
education as a way "to awaken awareness in the learner," with the task of education
falling chiefly on secondary schools at a time when schools provide "occasions and
circumstances for the awakening and intensification of awareness" (Park, 1968, p.
300). Since we are child, we are not really aware of our existence; just we have free
thinking about our daily movements. We just live like how we create ourselves. After

According to the dictionary that existentialism is a philosophical theory or

approach that emphasizes the existence of the individual person as a free and
responsible agent determining their own development through acts of the will.
Thereof human person is determined as how they act like a human person.
According to Jean-Paul Sartre claimed that a central proposition of Existentialism is
that existence precedes essence, which means that the most important
consideration for individuals is that they are individualsindependently acting and
responsible, conscious beings ("existence")rather than what labels, roles,
stereotypes, definitions, or other preconceived categories the individuals fit
("essence"). The actual life of individual is determined by consciousness- it is how
they built morality and thats how it defines existence.

"The subjective thinkers form, the form of his communication, is his style. His
form must be just as manifold as are the opposites that he holds together. The
systematic eins, zwei, drei is an abstract form that also must inevitably run into
trouble whenever it is to be applied to the concrete. To the same degree as the
subjective thinker is concrete, to the same degree his form must also be concretely
dialectical. But just as he himself is not a poet, not an ethicist, not a dialectician, so
also his form is none of these directly. His form must first and last be related to
existence, and in this regard he must have at his disposal the poetic, the ethical,
the dialectical, the religious. Subordinate characters, setting, etc., which belong to
the well balanced character of the esthetic production, are in themselves breadth;
the subjective thinker has only one settingexistenceand has nothing to do with
localities and such things. The setting is not the fairyland of the imagination, where
poetry produces consummation, nor is the setting laid in England, and historical
accuracy is not a concern. The setting is inwardness in existing as a human being;
the concretion is the relation of the existence-categories to one another. Historical
accuracy and historical actuality are breadth." Sren Kierkegaard (Concluding

An existentialist could either be a religious moralist, agnostic relativist, or an

amoral atheist. Kierkegaard, a religious philosopher, Nietzsche, an anti-Christian,
Sartre, an atheist, and Camus an atheist, are credited for their works and writings
about existentialism. Sartre is noted for bringing the most international attention to
existentialism in the 20th century. Its you yourself define what existentialism is.
Your definition will give meaning to your own existence. Perceptions of your own will
absolutely define your beginning. Life is no completion and satisfaction, it is
indescribable. However through existentialism, a human person seeks to find and
understand true persona of the origination. Existentialism then stresses that a
person's judgment is the determining factor for what is to be believed rather than
by arbitrary religious or secular world values.
 The essence of a table is what determines table-like behavior. Likewise, the
essence of a human being is what determines what a human being is like. These
fixed determinants can range from principles given by God to those we attribute to
society. Martin Heidegger helpfully points out that we often speak of the way one
does things, referring to no one in particular. We say things like this is the
way one does x, because doing x correctly means doing it in accordance with some
pre-established standard. But Heidegger believes that this way of thinking should
not extend to our ways of living. That is, we should not understand ourselves as
living correctly only when we live as one life. Existentialism reverses this picture
by suggesting that it is our living which determines our essence, and not the other
way around.

If Sartre is right and our lives are essentially up to us, then existentialists
must also be committed to a robust kind of freedom, since we are not determined
by what happens to us. It would seem that existentialists cannot simply draw from
a set of independently existing standards. If this were so, then who we are is again
simply a matter of conforming to some pre-established standards. If the standards
are up to us, then why should we choose any one set of standards over any other?
That is, how can we make sense of the idea that there is a right way to live and
a wrong way to live if there is no external standard for judging whether we have
made the right choice?

I believe that we exist because it is the will of God to give us our existence.
He gave us the freedom to choose and we are obligated to choose from different
choices. Let be particular about what life really is. We are making chooses not to
choose. Even by trying not to choose, no, we choose because we should. We are
who we make our selves. Existentialism just gives us the understanding and
appreciation of our essence and meaning to it.

This is not to denigrate the lives of things radically different from us, but
merely to point out those paradigm human creatures live peculiar sorts of lives.
The demarcating line here between lives like ours and lives unlike ours neednt be
drawn along purely biological lines.

It seems better to act authentically than to act in authentically; dont we

need to meet even more standards in order to count as living a truly good life? In
other words, we might worry about whether authenticity is the only guiding
principle that we really need.

Perhaps it is possible to be an authentic genocidal dictator. If so, then

perhaps Existentialism does not, on its own, suffice as a moral theory. It is a theory
that guides people to comprehend about the merit of life. Life that is having a deep
meaning and value. Life may question our essence however you know the in and
out meaning of it. You as living know where and how you exist.

Human freedom for me is absolute freedom. We have our consciousness to

choose, we are not determined by any matters around us. It is destined to be
influenced by others, I believed in that. The circumstances happening around us are
destined to happen. There are some possibilities that there is an animated persona-
that controls our minds and emotions. When we choose there might be
consequences among those choices, and we should and must accept whatever it is.

Attraction to a thing, think about attraction. The attraction you feel in

studying might distractive. Attraction to feel that you like something might fall to
distraction. However you choose to be attracted and you accept to be distracted.
But dont misinterpret the misconceptions about the two. You are attracted because
it is attractive and dont fall to the negative side of attraction. Accept the fact that
you are attracted to choose whether it is not and must be attracted.

Believe in all that can be, a miracle start whenever you dream, believe and
sing from your heart youll see, your song will hold the key.

This line of a song really implies to your capabilities that your existence is
how you make it. You are what you are and the people and matters around you are
destined to be part of it. The feeling of now and what you think will contribute to
your existence. As far as you go and for how far are your journey, just make to
happen the good and right things to your existence. You exist because you believe
that you will. Our life is invisible like the wind; it goes to different site no matter
what happens. Youll be the most productive person if you know why you here in
earth.
 The existence of a person is just here and will remain here- the world. The
true existence is the living with God- eternal. We must focus on the most important
thing in our life to achieve the existence we desire.

Live in light and all you can see to the things in this world will change.
People here today are destined to be born and die, between the two have choices
and those choices have happenings that are destined to. Human person have the
consciousness to choose and that will create the existence. Born to be a child of
God. Let ones existence live with God and there will be have an eternal and
everlasting existence.
