There was a time where I never even studied for Mandarin, but ever since I begun it has become some
much easier. I am now much more fluent at Mandarin and I find it enjoyable to learn about. I started putting
in more effort and the results from doing that came out very well. Last year I barely passed with a B and now
I am passing with an A due to hard work. In the beginning of semester 2 my goal for Mandarin was to be able
to memorize characters much more easily and maintain an A. That goal ended up being a success and I am
very proud of myself for it. My S.M.A.R.T goal for spring break is to come back even more prepared to learn
Mandarin. I will achieve this goal by keeping a positive mindset and staying engaged.
