Introduccin. En la evaluacin de la
memoria episdica con frecuencia suele
asociarse el tipo de estmulo a memorizar
con el tipo de codificacin a realizar por el
sujeto; sin embargo algunos estmulos no
verbales al ser codificados involucran
procesos verbales. Objetivo. Determinar si
existe asociacin entre la codificacin que
se realiza en el Test Aprendizaje Visual de
Rey y el flujo sanguneo cerebral, medido a
travs de SPECT (del ingls, Single Photon
Emission Computed Tomography) de
regiones corticales que participan en la
codificacin verbal. Mtodo. Participaron 20

sujetos a los cuales se les aplicaron las
pruebas de aprendizaje verbal y visual de
Rey y se les realiz un registro de
imgenes con SPECT. Para el anlisis
Pruebas de Aprendizaje estadstico se utiliz la prueba de
Verbal y Visual de Rey y correlacin de Spearman (p < 0,05).
