usingtheenvironmentallygreenHaberGoldProcess.Theimportanceofthisgreenfacilitygoesbeyondthis
projectasitcanhaveamajorpositiveimpactonthelivesofmorethan30millionsmallscaleandartisanminers
usingmercuryfortheextractionofgold;itwillprovethatthereisasaferandmoreprofitablewayforthemto
operate.Haberintendstoplayamajorroleinamelioratingtheglobalthreatoftheirresponsibleuseofmercury
andcyanidebysmallandmediumscalegoldmining.

TheHaberGoldProcessisuniqueforseveralreasons.Iteffectivelyiscapableofyieldingextractionefficiencies
withcomplexoresinthehigh90%rangewithgoldpurityinthe+99%range.Itdeliverstheseresultswith
extractiontimesofapproximately1to3hoursandgoldrecoveryinminutes.Mostimportantly,thisisall
accomplishedwithoutusingmercuryorcyanideorharmingtheenvironmentinanyway.Thisisastunningfeatof
chemicalengineeringandwasnoovernightsuccess.TheHaberteamhasbeenworkingalmostadecadeperfecting

TheHaberGoldProcess(HGP4)systemiscomprisedofthreemajorsteps,preprocessing,extractionandrecovery.

PreProcessingPriortotheprocess,wecarefullyanalyzetheoreforthecontentofothermineralsandore
constituents.Withtheresultsofthefullspectrumassay,weexperimentusingourchemicalmixturestooptimize
ourchemicalsforthisspecificoretype.Ourgoalisnearcompleteremoval(98+%)andhighpurity(99+%)gold,in
thefastestpossibletime.Onceweunderstandthereactionsandthetiming,wearereadytomodifyourplant
softwaretobeginprocessingtheore.


ExtractionInthisstepoftheoperation,weinjectourcustomdesignedchemicalmixtureintothetankwithour
oreanddosomelowspeedstirring.Wecarefullymonitorthereactionandthenaddadditionalchemical
components,asneeded,tokeeptheextractionprocessmovinginanoptimalmanner.Atthisstagea
determinationismadeastothepotencyofthepregnantgoldsolutionifenoughpotencyispresentinthe
pregnantgoldsolutionitisintroducedintoasecondbatchoforeandsoonuntilthepotencyisdepletedor
saturationhasbeenreached.Whenfreshchemicalsarerequiredinthenextloadoforethepregnantgoldsolution
isreadyforrecovery.

RecoveryTherecoveryprocessisjustasimportantastheextractionprocess.Oncethegoldisdissolvedintoour
chemicalmixtureandtheextractionprocessiscomplete,itstimetotakethegoldfromsolutionandturnitback
intogoldmetal.Weuseaformulationthatallowsourgoldtodropoutinourrecoverytankassmallparticlesof
highpuritypowderedgold.Wethendrainthetankandsweepthegoldfromthebottom.

WithHaber'srecoverysystem,simpleequipmentcanbeusedtoproducegoldmetalinminutes.Conventional
recoverymethodssuchascarbontowers,MerrillCrowe,orelectrowinning,arenotnecessary.

Approximately100tonsofover200typesofgoldorehavebeensuccessfullyprocessedinHGPpilottests.The
authenticityoftheextractiontechnologyhasalsobeenindependentlyverifiedbyseveralrespectedmining
engineeringfirms.TheHGP4systemiseffectivewithmicrofinegold,sulfides,andtellurideandotheroretypes
wherecyanidebecomesuneconomicalorveryinefficient.Ithasalsobeeneffectiveonlimestoneandhematitic
oresandcanbeusedtoextractgoldfromtailings.

BecauseHGPdoesnotrelyoncyanide,itisnotburdenedwiththechemicalcostsofdetoxifyingeffluentcyanide
solutionsortailings.Processingexpensesarealsoreducedbecausethereisnoneedforthehighlyalkalinesystems
thatconventionalleachingoperationsmustmaintaininordertokeepcyanidegasesatbay.

Inadditiontoreducedenvironmentallybasedexpenses,HGPprocessingdoesnotrequireveryfinegrinding,
vigorousagitation,oraeration,therebyeliminatingtheneedforsomeofthecostlycapitalthatmustbeusedwith
conventionaloperations.HGPisalsouniquelyeconomicalinthatitwillnotextractotherpreciousmetals,which
oftenaccompanygoldinores.Thisisanadvantagebecausethepresenceofotherpreciousmetalcontamination
necessitatesadditionalpurificationprocessesthatwouldaddtothecomplexity.Wekeepitsimple.
