OBJECTIVE:
To become a transformational school administrator in order to ensure that every student receives a rigorous
education that prepares him or her for the college and/or career experience they desire. This will be accomplished
by fearlessly promoting high expectations for all students, working with students, staff and parents to meet
students unique needs, encouraging the use of culturally responsive pedagogy and providing the support and
professional development that each staff member needs to best help our students be successful.

Cityview Community School Aspiring Principal Intern

Instructional Leadership:
Supervise instruction through SOEI observations and walkthroughs, coach and develop teachers in best
instructional practices.
Facilitate Professional Learning Communities (PLCs); gathered SMART goals, evidence and data from
PLCs for the Instructional Leadership Team.
Collaboratively develop and lead professional development on Culturally and Linguistically
Responsive Teaching, Growth Mindset and Academic Feedback.
Lead and implement the use of data analysis template to analyze student academic, attendance and
behavior data and facilitate data analysis in ILT and staff meetings.
Coach teachers on using FAST data to drive instruction and providing academic feedback to students.
Facilitate grade-level teams in strategic problem solving.
Lead Learning Walks to drive instructional practices and school wide implementation of SIP strategies.
Facilitate grade level collaborative planning and data analysis meetings.
Equity Leadership:
Developed and equity team and co-facilitate meetings; coached teacher-leaders to build their capacity in
leading equity team meetings.

Operational Leadership:
Develop and continually update Associate Educator and Special Education Assistant schedules to
ensure that AE and SEA staff spend the maximum amount of time supporting student learning rather
than supporting lunch and behavior.
Facilitate the Site Emergency Team (SET) meetings, update emergency procedures, work with SET
team and local fire department or prepare and execute safety drills.
Analyzed various sources of student data in order to collaborative with a social worker to develop a
multi-tiered system of support for a student receiving special services from the school and outside
organizations.
Community Relations:
Collaboratively planned Math Night/Turkey Bingo with family Liaison. Work with community partners
to create activities and provide resources for families.
Consistently complete home visit to build relationships with families and support student success.
Visit local radio stations to market Cityview Community School and the French Immersion Program.
Communicate with community partners including Junior League and Second Harvest to provide
resources for families.
Leadership Experiences:
Facilitated the collaborative analysis of formative assessment data among multiple teachers in a
Professional Learning Community in order to improve classroom instruction for all teachers.
