Context of the lesson:

Introducing the weather song.

My Aim:

I want all children to be able to sing the first two verses of the song and do the correct actions.

Teaching goal:

All children should be able to sing two verses of the song and use the correct actions from the instructions that I give.

All children should behave in the correct manner.

Learning objectives:

Sing the first two verses of the song and do the correct actions.

They will learn the actions and use the correct actions at the precise time.

They should understand the difference between sunny, cloudy, rain.

Assumptions about prior learning:

Children should be aware of the terms sun, clouds and rain as they are in KG2.

Possible problems and solutions:

Behavior; try eliminate this at the beginning of the lesson.

Posture; some children may not be able to stand correctly or still- teach them how to have good posture.

Technical issues- if the whiteboard is not working try have it saved on a USB stick before
