2. Background of the Program.

Mostly, students in secondary school are confuse about the next path of their life after the SPM
examination. They have so many choices, yet they still cannot figure out which is the best. So,
we as the engieering students of Universiti Malaysia Pahang, would like to give some
explanation about the introduction in learning engineering and share our experiences about our
choices and how we can manage ourselves until now. Next, we would like to bring those
students to go for a site visit to see the actual job of the engineers. Hence, the students will be
more motivated for their future. Our target is form 3 students as they need to choose on what
they will study in upper form and university.

3. Objective of The Program

To implement engineering knowledge and skills in each students so that student have
basic knowledge about engeenering to help them in the future.
Help them to make a choice and decision for their further study based on this study tour
to encourage them to choose engineering study and UMP as main education place to
choose..
To show them how engineering course is so important nowadays and in future. Also to
show them about the benefit in learning engeneering as profesion.
To ensure that the students gain much engineering knowledge throughout this tour as
them can applied it in their daily life.
Let them know and observe the environment and surrounding in this factory and led them
to see about the beuty of engineering.
To increase their social and interaction between them and the factory workers so that they
can have know about the experience how the society in this time work.
Make the studentss day more productive and efficient that can led them to have more
success chance in pursue their ambition.

9. Conclusion

Based on this program, we hope that the participants can gain knowledge and know about
engineering study. This will significantly reduce their rate of a culture shock after attending
this program as they have a little knowledge about engineering study. So, after attending this
programme, they can apply basic engineering skills in their daily life. Lastly, we hope this
program will promote and encourage students to choose engineering program when they
pursue their study at higher education level. Furthermore, our program will promote UMP as
the best higher institution for preparing them to engineering world indirectly. So we hope this
program will bring benefit to them as they going to world of society and choose UMP as
main place to continue their study in higher education.
