Due to the volume of applications we receive, individual acknowledgements cannot be sent. If you wish to
receive confirmation of receipt, please enclose a sealed self addressed envelope complete with postage. This
envelope will be stamped and returned to you as acknowledgement.

TERMS OF AWARD

1. Scholarships made pursuant and subject to these Terms of Award are made by BPP University Limited
(company number 02609100) (BPP).
2. Entrants must be eligible for the award for which they are applying:
a. Domestic Student means a person who is a European Economic Area national or a person who has
indefinite leave to remain In the United Kingdom; and
b. International Student means a person who is a non-European Economic Area national and has
limited leave to remain in the United Kingdom.
3. Entrants must have accepted a place on the relevant programme by the relevant closing date for the
scholarship. Entrants accepting their place after this date will not be considered for the scholarships.
4. Provision of a scholarship is subject to the relevant winner:
a. signing a scholarship acceptance form in the form prescribed by BPP; and
b. accepting all terms and conditions relevant to the scholarship and the relevant programme.
5. The relevant programme must be commenced at a BPP centre in the United Kingdom on its relevant start date.
No deferral of the scholarship will be permitted and the scholarship may be offered to a runner-up if the winner
is unable or unwilling to commence the relevant programme on the relevant start date.
6. The decision of BPP is final and no correspondence will be entered into concerning the award of a scholarship.
7. Winners will usually be notified that they have won a scholarship by email, telephone or post within 21 days of
the closing date.
8. Entrants who require a student visa to study with BPP are responsible for obtaining their own visa and meeting
any necessary visa requirements and for ensuring that their attendance is satisfactory to meet those visa
requirements. BPP will not admit any person to a programme unless that person has the legal right to study the
relevant programme in the United Kingdom. Where a winner is unable to demonstrate such right, the relevant
scholarship may be offered to a runner-up and BPP will have no liability to the original winner in relation to the
scholarship.
9. Winners must be available to attend reasonable publicity and events as requested and may be filmed,
photographed or otherwise recorded by BPP or other third parties for publicity and the winners consent to the
use and publication of their personal data for such purposes. If any winner is unable to attend such publicity
and event, the relevant scholarship may be offered to the runner-up of their scholarship.
10. In the event that a scholarship passes to a runner-up in accordance with these Terms of Award, that runner-up
shall be bound by these terms and conditions as though that runner-up were the winner.
11. Employees, and their immediate families, of BPP are not eligible for any of the scholarships.
12. By entering the competition for a scholarship, the entrant accepts these Terms of Award and agrees to be
bound by the decisions of BPP in relation to the award of the scholarship.
13. Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by its negligence or that of its personnel (for which
liability shall be unlimited), BPP shall not be liable to any winner or entrant (and/or any guest of any winner or
entrant) for any loss or damage howsoever caused (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) arising out of or in
connection with this scholarship.
14. BPP has the right to withdraw the offer of any scholarship and select an alternative winner if:
a. a winner is ineligible to enter this competition for any reason
b. a winner requires a student visa to study with BPP and is unable to obtain such a visa or meet any
necessary visa requirements;
c. the winner does not complete and submit a valid application to UCAS if applicable within the relevant
time for submission of applications;
d. BPP does not receive confirmation of the winners address within 14 days of any request;
e. a Winner does not accept or breaches any terms and conditions relating to the programme;
f. BPP does not receive from the winner all documentation required in connection with the scholarship
within any deadline notified by BPP; and/or
g. a winner is unavailable on any specific date or dates notified at the time of entry.
15. Entrants acknowledge that the fulfilment of any scholarship may be subject to execution by the applicant of
further documentation in respect of any scholarship.
16. The winner must complete all formalities with BPP.
17. BPP is not liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation to the winner or other applicant that is caused
by any circumstances beyond its reasonable control or by any act or omission of any third party.

18. These Terms of Award and any non-contractual obligation arising out of or in connection with them shall be
governed by and construed in accordance with English law and BPP and the winner and any applicant
irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts with regard to any claim arising out of or
in connection with these Terms of Award and any non-contractual obligation arising out of or in connection
with them.
19. These Terms of Award and BPPs general terms and conditions which apply in respect of all BPP programmes
(General Terms and Conditions) apply to the scholarship and to the eligible BPP programme to which the
scholarship will be applied. The General Terms and Conditions are available at
http://www.bpp.com/terms/l/university-college-terms.
20. Please read these Terms of Award and the General Terms and Conditions carefully and print off a copy for your
records. BPP will not file or otherwise keep a copy of the agreement concluded between you and BPP and a
copy of the concluded agreement will not be available from BPP at a future time and date.
21. Unless otherwise stated, the scholarship will not include travel, accommodation, food, living costs, relocation
costs, any other financial support of any kind, additional study materials and any amounts payable to any
professional body in order to participate in the relevant programme or any costs associated with exemptions
and examination entries.
22. Winners cannot use the scholarship in conjunction with any other discounts or offers by BPP for the relevant
programme. The scholarship is non-transferable by winners (to either another Domestic or International
Student or to any other programme run by BPP) and no cash alternative will be offered.
23. BPPs standard cancellation and deferral terms will apply to the relevant programme as set out in the General
Terms and Conditions. Should any refund or credit note be due to a winner, the value of such refund or credit
note will be the amount of fees actually paid by the winner excluding any discount awarded as a result of the
scholarship.
24. BPP reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship at any time without notice. BPP may update or amend the
scholarship, these Terms of Award and/or the General Terms and Conditions to comply with law or meet its
changing business requirements without notice to you. Any updates or amendments will be posted on the BPP
website at www.bpp.com.
25. BPP will process the information it received from an entrant or otherwise holds about an entrant in accordance
with these Terms of Award, the General Terms and Conditions, and its privacy policy, which is available at
http://www.bpp.com/privacy-policy.aspx.
26. In the event that an entrant does not wish to receive correspondence from BPP or any member of the BPP group
of companies, the entrant should email BPP at terms@bpp.com , telephone customer services on 0845 075
