Dear Ms Kyoko Matsumoto,

I am writing this letter to be considered for Sakura Scholarship

Scheme being a student of three-month Japanese language course
of my final year at faculty of International Business School in
Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

One of the main reasons I wish to study at Sakura Scholarship

Scheme is that the studies of culture and business in Japan is very
fascinating for me as they are increasingly of global nature in
international universities and it is adopting advanced similarities
within different modern civilizations. This scholarship will enable me
to study the cultural heritage of Japan and making comparison
rather than reading books or Internet. Real study of the cultural
differentiation would truly enlarge my knowledge. At my university I
also study French and German besides English and my marks are
the highest. Living and studying abroad contains benefits, which I
cannot achieve by short visits. I like to accept new challenges and
opportunities for my personal development by identifying new ways
of education.

I believe that I am qualified for your scholarship program. I am

sending you a reference and personal statements. I hope it will
assist you for consideration of my application about scholarship. If
you need any additional information, please contact me. I am
looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you in advance.

Best regards,
Smirnova Daria
