REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2016-255

AN ORDINANCE CREATING TWO (2) POSITIONS NAMELY:
OME. (1) ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER I, S/G 10 AND ONE (1)
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, S/G 8 IN THE CITY BUDGET
OFFICE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREOF

WHEREAS, the City Budget Office is in need of additional workforce to expedited

their works in order for them to meet with the demands of their office especially in
handling critical budgetary works and for them to give the best service to their clients;

WHEREAS, the creation of two (2) positions namely: one (1) Administrative
0 rt., S/G 10 and one (1) Administrative Assistant II, S/G 8 in the City Budget Office
enta s minimal cost on the Personnel Services of the General Funds of the Iloilo City
Government;

WHEREAS, Section 76 of Republic Act 7160 of the Local Government Code of

1991 states that:

"Section 76. Every LGU shall design and implement its own
structure and staffing pattern taking into consideration its service
requirements and.financial capability; subject to the minimum standards
and guidelines prescribed by the Civil Service Commission."

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City

of Iloilo, in session assembled, that:

Section 1. - There is hereby created two (2) new positions in the City Budget
Office, to wit:

1) One (1) Administrative Officer I, Salary Grade 10

2) One (1) Administrative Assistant, Salary Grade 8

Section 2. - There is hereby appropriated the necessary funding for the purpose.

Section 3. - This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
