before. I will instruct the students at the beginning of the class that we are about to review the content from
yesterday so everyone needs to either take out their laptops or any other device theyd like to use. I would
already have the game code written on the board or projector so students will go to the website and type in
the code and get ready for when the teacher starts the game.

Additional explanation of purpose (optional):

Type of session: Teacher-Paced Student-Paced

Identification of students:
Students will log-in so their individual scores will be available to you after the session
SRS activity will be anonymous
Briefly describe what will happen during the SRS activity:
For this activity, students will use their own electronic devices to answer questions that are projected on
the board. The students will login using the generated game code and students will login with their name so
they can keep track of their own score and so the teacher knows which students need extra help. Students
will answer the questions on their device as they appear on the projector. At the end, the students are able to
see the leaderboard to see who scored the most points.
The teacher is the one who paces the game. So as students log into the game, the teacher is the one who
controls when the students go on to the next question. After all students have answered the question, it
shows the data on screen about how many people put what answer. If a lot of students missed a particular
question, the teacher will make sure to review that question and use that opportunity to reinforce that
concept. Depending on the number of questions of the review, this could take anywhere from 10-15
mintutes.
