Geothermal Technology
A geothermal system utilizes the earth’s natural thermal energy to heat your home during the

much the same way as a conventional forced air system, except without burning any fossil fuel. In the summer time, the cycle is reversed 
and cool temperatures are drawn up through the ground loops and used to cool the air in your distribution system. 
 

Geothermal Benefits

COMFORT    Geothermal systems use the stable temperature of the earth as the energy source, therefore constant even  
      heating and cooling is assured throughout the home all year round. 
FLEXIBILITY    Geothermal heat exchangers can provide any combination of forced air heating, radiant in‐floor heating,  
      domestic hot water and air conditioning ‐ all form the same unit.

Offer Details
A lot owner will receive a $23,000 credit towards the installation of a geothermal heat exchanger subject to the following conditions: 
initial purchase of the lot from the developer must close before September 1, 2010 
geothermal heat exchanger must be installed by September 1, 2015 
geothermal heat exchanger that is installed must be capable of servicing the lot owner's home design 
current lot owner at time of installation completion review will receive the developer credit 
Cost assumption for a geothermal heat exchanger is based on installation of a vertical closed loop geothermal field as recommended by the MCW 
Engineer’s Report dated August 15, 2008. This report is available at CypressPlaceLiving.com. 
The engineer’s report provides energy modeling for a prototypical home design. Test boreholes were drilled on the site and conductivity tests were 
performed by the engineer to provide data for the basis of the report.
