Pichaet Wiriyachitra is Thai Scientist. There are many scientist in this world. Most of them are in

the big country such as United states of America. Pichaet Wiriyachitra is almost the most well-

known scientist in Thailand that had invented the substance that associated with cancer.

Pichaet Wiriyachitra is a professor of chemistry he was born on 27 July 1944 and in his childhood

he attended Triam Udom Suksa school for high school and went to many University which were an

outstanding university. His education life was outstanding because he had received a Ph.D, Organic

Chemistry from the University of Tasmania and also the Post Doctoral Fellowships at the

University of Connecticut and University of Pennsylvania which was really successful. Pichaet

discovered a work that was famous and acceptable in Thailand not only in Thailand but his work

were outstanding that other country knew him and his experiment. Tv show of other country invited
 him to go interview in the show. More over Pichaet appeared on many of the media in many

countries. Hes considered one of the most famous scientist in Thailand that discovered something

about a Cancer which is the most horrible thing to deal with

I was adamant from the start that in one way or another we would work towards

commercialization, otherwise research has little benefit, said Dr. Pichaet Wiriyachitra, chairman

and chief executive of Asian Phytoceuticals Plc (APCO), Pichaet talk about this product in the way

of making the commercial and It can show that he is a person that work hard and will not give up

easily he also said that he knew he was not good at this but he will keep trying until it reached his

goal.
Pichaet achived many of the successful technical achivement in his life. He has very interesting

profile in studying and working. First when he was 15 year old he went to Triam Udom Suksa

school for his high school. Triam Udom Suksa school is considered the best school in Thailand that

of course the most difficult to get in and he made it it shows that he was good and intelligence at

very young age and it was a good beginning to start his teenage life. In the University he went to

University of Pensylvania and bachelor received a degree in Bachelor of Science. After that he

received Ph.D, Organic Chemistry from the University of Tasmania Then he started to work as an

lecturer assistance , professor in chemistry field at Prince Songkla University and after that he

became the Vice president and the Dean of graduated school and also became a Guest Scientist at

the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and the German Cancer Research Center and now

he is working a chairman and CEO for Asian Phytoceuticals Public Co., Ltd., and also becoming a

President of the Asian Life Co., Ltd. And Green Gold Co., Ltd. Not only achieving a good place in

education but he had also discovered the most significant experiment in his life which is BIM100

it is a supplementary food that can deal with cancer. Pichaet leads the scientist group. The product

became famous both in Thailand and outside the country which can see from the media that

interviewed Pichaet were mostly international media. But to be this successful and famous was not

that simple. There are several nutritional products in the market based on Chinese, Thai, Western

medicine and so on, said Dr. Pichaet, but most of them take other peoples claims and infuse them

with a little bit of science without genuine research Said Dr. Pichaet. It shows that he has a
knowledge about the product and knows that other product in the market may have a exaggeration

about the product which was not really true. It shows that his product will had a good process and

the has been researched correctly.

Pichaet Wiriyachitra has one outstanding experiment that he did which I had mentioned in the

previous page. It is a supplementary food called BIM 100 Which 100 means 100 years of

living. It refers to their supplementary food that can make a consumer healthy and can live until 100

years. Which leads the team of scientist by Dr. Pichaet Wiriyachitra. The team consist of the

following scientist. Professor Dr. Ampai Panthong, professor Dr. Prachya Kontawelert , professor

Dr. Siriwan Ong-chai (Yaemniyom), professor Dr. Souwalak Phongpaichit, professor Dr. Wilawan

Mahabusarakam. BIM 100 is a supplementary food that distilled from the extract of fruits and

grains in Thailand. It had been proved that it contained extracts from mangosteen which contained

anti-cancer properties. Mangosteen has been used as an effective traditional medicine in Thailand

for a very long time. They had been doing research for more than 30 years. As they have been

working hard and the Result came out. The new BIM 100 formula has been prepared by using

extracts from 5 kinds of Thai fruits and grain to help the activation of helper cells which they

establishing and maximizing the capability of immune system. The product came out and was

getting a good result both in and outside of the country and continue to put on the market.
Pichaet Wiriyachitra is a professor in chemistry field he reached a lot of successful achievement

such as receiving the Ph.D, Organic Chemistry from the University of Tasmania and teach as a

professor in a university. When he works he also successful in his work that had been researched for

31 years. The work that he had done is as famous in other country as it famous in Thailand. He is a

very intelligent scientist and did a work that mark special recognition afford for Thailand. Foreigner

will have a good perspective with Thailand according to the famous and quality work that he had

done for Thailand.
