MOTIVATION LETTER

Bandung, December 19th 2015

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this motivation letter to introduce my self and to express my motivation for working
as a Finance. My name is Fanny Berliani, you can call me Fanny. I am 21 st years old. I just have
one younger brother which studying in Senior High School. I am very interesting with Finance or
accounting since I was studied in Senior High School, actually I was majoring in social. I was
still very interested and happy to learn about bookkeeping. Because at that time, I felt my
passionate is accounting, not science. When I passed in Senior High School, I chose Financial
Administration in Padjadjaran University. Because I wanted to deepen my knowledge of
accounting and finance. While Im studying finance in university, I not only learn about
accounting but also I learn about human resource, administration, and management. After that in
3rd semester, we must chose one of three specialization and finally, I chose specialization in
Finance. Why I chose finance? I was very interesting when I learned finance and accounting in
4th semester. Because I thought finance and accounting is very interesting and challenging. With
accounting and finance, we can know that the financial statements which presented by
accountant was correct and in accordance with the standard, other than that we can also find out
if there are any irregularities in the financial statements which presented by management in a
company. Or in other words, the audit helps to ensure that the financial statements prepared by
management is correct and free of fraud. Therefore, I want to be an auditor in one of Big Four
Company. Besides, I am a person who likes to learn new things, be responsible and able to work
in teams. Therefore, I followed some of the organization's activities either on campus or outside,
which are Buddy Coordinator for BINUSIAN 2016, Binus Job Expo Committee, be a part of the
KBMK Binus, and treasurer in PAKIN Pondok Cabe period 2014 until 2018.

My plan for the next five years, I want to be a successful woman. One way to achieve it is
become an auditor in Big Four Company. For me, success as an auditor means it can run
independently audit the financial statements and present the truth. After that, I believe as a
woman, I can not work too long with solid work hours because I had to manage my time in order
to balance between work and my family. Therefore, I also want to be a successful business
woman. I think, today and for the next few years the property business is the most promising
business, therefore I choose to do business property later. Other than that, I also believe that
success is measured not only of success in a job or business. But for me, using the success that I
have to please the people who are around me.

My reason for internship at PwC because my passion is as an auditor. As the Big Four Company,
I believe PwC has had a lot of knowledge that I will get to add my knowledge about the world of
auditing. Besides that, at PwC I can learn how to audit the company with various different types
of business. Because as a Big Four Company, PwC has many clients with a variety of cases.
PWC is my dream Big Four Company. And I hope I can be a part of your company especially.
