Tute: 2 Group: Prue Kirsch, Sophie Kelly, Zoe Jaques

Design a Street Game that can be used in schools

BUMP
Aim:
For students to practice their shooting skills from the free throw line
Equipment:
- 2 x basketball per group
Playing area:
Half a basketball court
Main areas to be used:
- Hoop
- Three point line D
- Free throw line key
Students begin by lining up in a single file
line behind the free throw line.
Rules:
- Students split evenly between the basketball hoops
- Students line up behind free throw line
- First two students in the line have a basketball
- First student in the line will shoot a free throw
- If the ball goes in the hoop, that student will collect their ball and pass it to
the next person in the line who does not have a ball
- If the student misses the shot, they must rebound the ball, and shoot from
the position where they got the ball. This student will continue to do this
until they get the ball in.
- At the same time, the next student in the line will shoot a free throw. If the
second student sinks the ball before the first, the first student is out of the
game.
- Play continues until there are two students left
- When this happens, each student will place their basketball on the corner
of the free throw line
- Students must then race to reach their opponents basketball and shoot
- The first student to get the ball in the hoop wins
