Dear Mr.

Suarez,

I am excited to announce that I have finished editing your resume and cover letter. Let me tell
you, it really was a fun one.

Per the assignment along with the UCF Style Guide, I did make some major formatting changes,
as well as some minor content adjustments to better showcase your academic progress and valor.
Some of these changes include but are not entirely limited to:

1. I noticed that you used a somewhat unconventional format method for your resume, so I
moved a few things around according to the UCF Style Guide to better communicate your
goals, skills, and assets as a prospective IT intern and perhaps future employee. For
instance, I aligned your descriptions to the left and condensed your contact info so that it
would take less space on the page. I also enlarged your name, and changed the rest of the
font to 12pt with single line spacing.

2. Some items were a bit too detailed, such as your duties at Cinemark Theaters. I trimmed
some of the specific aspects of your responsibilities so that feats such as being a part of
the Leading Crew would stand out to prospective employers.

3. I became aware that you like abbreviations, which normally sounds cool, but they came
off a bit ambiguous to me as a reader. While the prospective employer may understand
what youre talking about, I think its important to present yourself in a professional
manner to further distinguish yourself as a scholar as opposed to a college kid who
will take any job.

4. I rearranged your resumes objective a bit, where I also included the notion of becoming
an intern, since this is what you are supposedly applying for, and for the purposes of the
assignment. I did my best to include everything you had mentioned, while expressing
your ideas in a concise and somewhat brief manner.

Based upon the link provided, I can confidently say that I believe that you have accurately
aligned your resume with the requirements of the internship.

I hope you will find that these new arrangements will bring you closer to having a finished
product, and that you will feel confident and at ease when presenting these documents to
prospective employers. Best of luck with the internship! I am rooting for you.

If you have any questions or concerns about the changes I took the liberty of making or
perhaps would like to work further on embellishing your cover letter and/or resume please feel
free to send me an email, or text/call me directly at (321) 543-1255.

Your Editor,

Gabriela Hardgrove
