NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS

Usinas Siderrgicas de Minas Gerais S.A. - USIMINAS, in addition to the Manual for
Participation of the Shareholders at the Ordinary General Meeting called for April 27th, 2017 and
in compliance with the recommendations provided in the Ofcio Circular/CVM/SEP/01/2017,
hereby informs its shareholders that received, on April 3rd, 2017, from its minority shareholder
Banco BTG Pactual S.A. the nomination of Mr. Francisco Augusto da Costa e Silva for
reelection to the position of effective member of the Board of Directors, and of Mr. Durval Jos
Soledade Santos, for reelection as respective alternate.

The information sent by Banco BTG Pactual S.A. regarding to the candidates nominated by it is
attached to the present Notice to Shareholders.
